Ivy is an accounting professional with experience in both a Big 4 firm and in industry. She pursued her Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved back home to Calgary to complete the CPA program.
After her experiences helping build her family’s business, auditing private enterprises, and working for a start-up, Ivy has found a passion in analyzing and improving processes by working directly with key individuals. Seeing the direct impact of her work is a key career motivation.
Outside of the office, Ivy enjoys spending time with her family including one dog and two cats. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and seeing live music, Broadway shows, and plays. Impact-driven, Ivy likes to see her efforts also translate to the community through volunteering or donating to mutual-aid/grassroots organizations in the city. She aims to continue bringing about change in both her career and in her community.
