Angelica Ciochon

Client Excellence Manager

Angelica is a client and office management professional with an added bonus of over 10 years of accounting experience. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce. Although her major was in marketing, Angelica has always had a keen interest in the financial field. What started off as a fun job being a bank teller for a summer, it transitioned into more than a decade of learning the lingo and intricacies of finance and accounting. After some time at the bank and an investment firm during university, she spent 7 years at a Big Four firm, gaining experience in supporting clients both internally and externally across various fields of accounting including private company services, audit and assurance, not-for-profit, and tax accounting while learning the inner workings of the fast paced accounting world.

Going from working at a global conglomerate, she spent a few years at a small tax boutique firm honing in on her leadership and office management skills ensuring the office was a smooth running operation. Working at a smaller firm allowed her to pick up more accounting and financial management skills and continue to build relationships and be that human touchpoint between clients and accountants.

As a highly motivated and self-driven individual, her passion has always been fostering client and team relationships and she has found a rewarding career in making a difference in people’s lives. She believes there is something to be said about working for a local firm that feels like family. She stands by the idea of “being the blessing that other people need” and adding a little sparkle to the world through acts of charity.

In her spare time, Angelica can be found outdoors with her Australian Shepherd Luna, running the beautiful pathways of Calgary or exploring the mountains right in our backyard of Alberta. Originally from Chicago, (don’t judge her too hard!) she moved to Calgary in 1997 and can’t envision calling anywhere else home. With a Polish background to add to the mix, if you ask her if she feels more Polish, American or Canadian, she’ll tell you it depends how she’s feeling that day! She loves spending time with her family and friends and is always dreaming of her next travelling adventure or next physical challenge to take on!
