Karen Berg - Administration Manager

Karen Berg brings over 25 years of corporate administration and operations experience to our Stawowski McGill team, gained through the human resources, technology, and financial services industries. A tech-savvy, practical, and imaginative administrative leader, Karen brings solid expertise in business operations, administration, facilities, information technology, bookkeeping, and human resources. Karen is responsible for overall administrative and operational functions in our office, including client service, technology, administration, and HR.

Karen obtained her Business Administration Diploma from SAIT, and a Certifcate in Change Management from UofC.

Hailing from Saskatchewan, Karen approaches everything with a strong desire to create community. She brings an enthusiastic and caring style to everything she does. A lifelong and active volunteer, Karen can be found giving her time to sorting donations, making meals, participating in various events, walks and runs, and even walking dogs!

Karen enjoys creative pursuits including costume design for a not-for-profit dance foundation, and is an active participant in The Kindness Rocks Project running her own group of painters. She is the mom of two young adults, who are her biggest pride as she has raised them on her own. Karen loves travel and gardening, and is teaching herself photography. She loves walking and checking out Calgary’s extensive pathways and parks and taking day trips with her Goldendoodle dog.
